I/O & Security Monitoring

The ServersCheck Security Bus is a real time contact and voltage sensor. It has 15 Boolean inputs that allow you to connect and monitor, in real-time, the state of dry contact based sensors and voltage sources. It also includes two relay outputs (SPDT) for controlling low voltage actuator loads such as lamps, audible alarms or solenoids. The Security Bus is housed in a mountable plastic module with screw terminal strips where external dry-contact security devices, voltage sources and actuator loads can be connected. The device communicates with the ServersCheck BTS Monitoring Appliance over an RS232 serial port.

It can be used to monitor motion, glass-break and door sensors for physical security and activity; smoke and fire detectors/systems; diesel generators activity; gas leak detectors; AC power supplies or battery voltages; door entry solenoid; door chimes and buzzers; photocell detection of room lighting; dry contact monitoring ...

Following are standard security sensors available from ServersCheck:

Door Contact Sensor

Get real-time detection of activity, unauthorized access and open/closed state of a server rack or door. This devices' quick-connect feature allows it to be easily connected to the Physical Security Bus. The low-profile surface mount design is quick and easy to install using self-adhesive tape or provided screws.

PIR Motion Sensor

Get real-time motion sensing of desired activity or unauthorized access in server rooms. This detector's quick-connect feature allows it to be easily connected to and powered by the Physical Security Bus. Its dual element digital signal processing design provides 40' x 50' (12.2 x 15.2 m) wall to wall coverage while minimizing false alarms. This detector includes tamper and disconnect sensing.

Photoelectric Smoke Sensor

Get real-time smoke detection. This detector's quick-connect feature allows it to be easily connected to and powered by the Physical Security Bus. Its photoelectric smoke detector include fast response algorithm for a quick response to fires. A pulsed infrared LED light source and a high-speed photodiode sensing element are housed in an omnidirectional sensing chamber which is protected by an insect screen. The chamber is not affected by ambient light. For easy cleaning, the chamber unsnaps and is field-replaceable. This detector has disconnect sensing and includes the mounting base.

Acoustic Glass Break Sensor

Get real-time detection of breaking glass and vandalism. This detector's quick-connect feature allows it to be easily connected to and powered by the Physical Security Bus. Its coverage pattern easily adjusts to fit small or large rooms. Using patented pattern recognition technology, this detector listens for actual patterns of breaking glass while eliminating most false alarm patterns. A simple hand clap lets end users confirm at any time that the detector is operational. This detector includes tamper and disconnect sensing.
